Why Epoxy for Your Garage?
Your garage floor takes more abuse than any other surface in your home. Epoxy flooring creates a rock-hard, seamless surface that protects your concrete from stains, chemicals, tyre marks, and impact — while looking fantastic.
The Garage Epoxy Process
1. Diamond Grinding
We use industrial diamond grinders to remove any existing coatings, open the concrete pores, and create a profile that ensures perfect adhesion. This is the most important step.
2. Repair & Preparation
Cracks, spalls, and divots are filled and levelled. The floor is thoroughly cleaned and any dust removed.
3. Primer Application
A penetrating epoxy primer seals the concrete and provides a bonding layer for subsequent coats.
4. Base Coat
Your chosen colour base coat is applied. This is where flakes are broadcast if you choose a flake finish.
5. Top Coat
A UV-stable polyaspartic or urethane top coat is applied for protection, gloss, and durability.
6. Curing
Walk on it in 4-6 hours. Park your car in 12-24 hours. We use premium All Purpose Coatings systems for fast, reliable curing.
Colours & Finishes
We offer an extensive selection through our Colour Studio:
- Solid colours — dozens of shades from subtle greys to bold tones
- Epoxy flake (chip) — vinyl chips in hundreds of colour blends
- Metallic epoxy — premium depth and shimmer, each floor is unique
- Anti-slip options — available for garages with wet entry
Maintenance
Epoxy floors are incredibly easy to maintain. Sweep regularly, mop with mild detergent as needed. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive pads. That's it.
